John Harrison the Baptist

Today I was thirsty, so like any other day I climbed up on the counter, got myself a cup and filled it with water. I had an idea! I went in to Mommy and Daddy's bedroom where Emerson was laying on the bed watching TV. I dunked my hand in the water and got on top of Emerson and wiped a soaking finger across his head and told him to "remember your blessing". Mommy called me into the bathroom to ask me why Emerson was crying. I told her to bend down because I had something for her. She bent down and i wiped my re-soaked finger across her forehead in the cross shape and said "remember your blessing". Mommy looked at me and said that if someone wants to be able to do that, they need to go to a special school like Aunt Shelley or Pastor Ed did. I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Why? I have a cup of water right here." She laughed, but I'm not sure why.

1st Big Snow

It took all winter, but we finally got some decent snowman-making snow. It started on Thursday night and continued through Friday. Daddy went to work in the morning, but got to come home early. Since we had nothing to do, we had a jammie day in the morning. Then we got all of our snow gear on and headed outside. The plan was to shovel the walk and driveway for Daddy so he wouldn't have to when he got home, but the snow was too perfect and we had to make a snowman! Emerson decided to call the snowman "Emerson the Snowman" and I named him "Hot Wheels". We also used Mommy's ladle from the kitchen to make snow balls to throw at each other.

Helping Out

Mommy forgot to buy dishwasher detergent and the dishes were really piling up so Emerson and I decided to help her out by washing them ourselves. We started out very neatly, but just couldn't keep all of the water in the sink. When Mommy went down to the basement to do laundry, Emerson decided it'd be best if he just washed the dishes with NO clothes on....at least then they would stay dry.

NJ Trip

This week we traveled to NJ and stayed at Aunt Georgi and Uncle Jon's house. Usually it's pretty cozy staying there....just like our house. But this time it was EXTRA cozy because Uncle Drew, Aunt Jessy and our cousin Trey came to stay with them too! There were 11 of us in their 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house! Good thing the mom's could wash almost all of us in the tub together! We had a birthday party for Trey (we call him Treyman) with a dinosaur cake. Treyman wanted a blue cake with a dinosaur on top eating a giraffe's head off, so that's what my mom made him! He got a lot of birthday presents and we all were so happy to get to play together for a few days!

Luke's 1st Birthday

Today we took Baby Luke to the Maritime Aquarium to celebrate his first birthday which is on Thursday. He LOVED to see the fish, touch the tanks, and play in the water in the touch tanks. When we came home we sang Happy Birthday to him and gave him his first cupcake...it was such a mess!!
