Uncle Eric & Aunt Jourdan Come to Visit CT

My Uncle Eric and his girlfriend, Aunt Jourdan, came to CT to visit us. They are so much fun to play with. They were here the morning of my birthday, so it made it extra special. They gave me a new "Insta Bed" for my birthday AND my own pocket knife! After Uncle Eric gave me all of the rules of using my pocket knife, he let me use it to open some of my birthday presents. It was so cool! One day we even went to the dog park to blast off our very own rocket! On Saturday Mommom Lenor invited us all to go to North Port Long Island on her boat. What an awesome time we had! We sure do miss you guys!!

Happy 5th Birthday Pirate Party!

This weekend we had my birthday party at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. It was a Pirate party! Everyone got pirate hats and goody bags. We even went on a treasure hunt! After the treasure hunt, we got to break open the Pirate Ship Pinata. Everyone seemed to have a really great time!

2 Weeks with Our Cousins!

Every summer our cousin Lexi comes to CT to stay with us. This is the 4th year! Lexi's little sister Emma has been begging Mommy to bring her to CT since last year, so this year she got to come too! We had so much fun together! We went to the YMCA swimming pond and splash pool, the Norwalk Beach, Aunt Betsey's pool and even Six Flags New England! They stayed with us for 2 weeks and then Uncle Jon and Aunt Georgi came up for the weekend to help with my 5th birthday party. It was really great to have them here with us!

Happy Independence Day!

Today we went to the beach down the street from our house to watch the fireworks. I don't know why, but where we live the fireworks are always on the 3rd of July. Anyway, Daddy got to come home early from work so he took us to get our own fireworks before we left to see the big ones. When we got home from the store, we packed up and got in the bike trailer and rode to the beach. We played for a little bit, had snacks, and then it got dark. I really liked the LOUD fireworks and Emerson really liked any of the ones that were blue (like Thomas the Tank Engine, of course!). When the fireworks were finished, we jumped back in the bike trailer and headed for home. Boy were we glad we took the bikes to the beach and didn't have to sit in that traffic! When we got home, Daddy set off some of our own fireworks in the street next to our house. They were so cool!

The next day was the 4th of July so Mommy and Daddy cooked dinner for us on the grill in the back yard. We played basketball and threw the frisbee too! Once it got dark, we finished setting off our fireworks in the street next to the house. After those were gone, Daddy lit a fire in the firepit out back. Mommy let us roast marshmellows and make S'mores! It was pretty late, and Emerson fell asleep in Mommy's lap. It sure was a great holiday and I'm so glad to be an American boy!
